The rules for buying from the Art of Uki store, and how your data is handled

Art of Uki

31.10.2026

This page covers two things: the terms that apply when you buy from the Art of Uki store, and how we handle your data. Both apply to your use of artofuki.com ("the Website"), operated by Uroš Savić, Clairvoyant Design, Bachmannweg 35, 8046 Zürich, Switzerland ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Part 1 — Terms and Conditions

What can you use this website for?

You're welcome to browse the Website, read the articles and buy from the store for personal use. Please don't:

• Try to damage, disable, or gain unauthorized access to the Website

• Scrape or copy artwork or content using automated tools

• Use the Website for anything unlawful

What do we sell?

The store offers limited-edition Giclée prints, original drawings, books (printed and digital), and T-shirts. Each product page describes what you get, including size, material, edition details and whether a Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Colors on screen vary between devices, so a print or shirt may look slightly different in person. Original drawings are handmade, and small irregularities are part of the work, not a defect.

How does ordering work?

When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed when that confirmation is sent. We may cancel an order if an item is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, or the order can't be shipped to your country; if you've already paid, we'll refund you in full.

Original drawings (price on request)

Original drawings are one of a kind and priced on request. Contact us about the piece you're interested in, and we'll send you a written offer with the price, shipping and payment details. The sale is confirmed once you accept that offer in writing and payment is received. Each original comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). We are not registered for Swiss VAT, so no VAT is charged. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

You can pay by credit or debit card (processed by Stripe) or PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.

If you order from outside Switzerland, your country may charge import duties, VAT or customs fees on delivery. These are not included in our prices and are paid by you.

Shipping and delivery

We ship worldwide with Swiss Post. Orders are usually dispatched within 5 working days; prints that are made to order can take up to 2 weeks. Delivery times after dispatch depend on the destination and the carrier, and are estimates rather than guarantees.

Prints are shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or flat in a rigid cardboard envelope. Please check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged in transit, email us within 7 days with photos of the item and the packaging, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Digital books

Digital books (PDF) are delivered by download link after payment. You get a personal licence to read the book on your own devices. You may not share, resell, or upload the file anywhere. Because digital files can't be returned, digital purchases are final once the download is available, unless the file is faulty.

Returns and cancellations

If you change your mind, you can return prints, printed books and unworn shirts within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and the Certificate of Authenticity must be included. Email us before sending anything back. Return shipping is paid by you; we refund the item price and the original standard shipping within 14 days of receiving the return.

The following can't be returned for change of mind: digital books once downloaded, original drawings, and items made or personalised to your specifications.

What if something is wrong with your order?

If an item is faulty or not what you ordered, email us as soon as you notice, ideally with photos. We'll repair, replace or refund it. Your statutory warranty rights under Swiss law (two years for new goods) are not affected.

Limited editions and certificates

Giclée prints are limited to 25, 50 or 100 copies depending on the artwork (the edition size is shown on each product page), printed on museum-quality Hahnemühle paper, numbered and signed. Edition numbers are assigned in order of sale, and you can't choose a specific number. The Certificate of Authenticity confirms the work's origin and edition; keep it with the artwork.

Who owns the artwork?

All artwork, text, images and design on the Website belong to Art of Uki and are protected by copyright. Buying a print, drawing, book or shirt gives you ownership of that physical item (or a personal licence for digital books), not the copyright. You can display and resell the item you own, but you may not reproduce, scan, print or use the artwork commercially without our written permission.

How accurate is the information here?

We keep product information up to date as best we can, but mistakes can happen. If we spot an error in an order you've placed, we'll contact you before shipping.

Links to other websites

We're not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party website we link to.

Our liability

To the extent Swiss law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the Website or our products. This doesn't limit liability for anything caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part, or any rights you can't waive as a consumer.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Zürich, Switzerland. If you're a consumer living outside Switzerland, you keep any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

Part 2 — Privacy Policy

What data do we collect, and why?

Placing an order. When you buy something, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you give one) and what you ordered. We use this only to process, ship and support your order, and to send you order and shipping updates.

Payments. Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. They receive your payment details directly; we only see the payment status and, for cards, the last four digits.

Getting in touch. If you email us, for example to ask about an original drawing, we use your email and whatever you share solely to reply and, if you buy, to complete the sale.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, how people found us, general location and device type). It uses cookies and collects your IP address in shortened form.

We don't currently run a newsletter or user accounts. We'll only email you marketing if you've explicitly opted in.

Who do we share data with?

Only the services needed to run the store:

• Webflow — hosts the Website and stores order data (webflow.com/legal/privacy)

• Stripe — processes card payments (stripe.com/privacy)

• PayPal — processes PayPal payments (paypal.com/privacy)

• Swiss Post — receives your name and address to deliver your parcel

• Google — website analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)

Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. They are bound by their own privacy commitments and standard contractual safeguards. We don't sell your data to anyone.

How long do we keep it?

Order and invoice records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss accounting law requires. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request or order. Analytics data is kept according to our account settings.

Cookies

The store uses cookies that are needed to work, for example to remember your basket and to process checkout. Stripe and PayPal set their own cookies during payment for security and fraud prevention. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, but the basket and checkout may not work without them.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law (and the GDPR, if you live in the EU), you can ask us to:

• Tell you what data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate data

• Delete your data, unless we're legally required to keep it (such as order records)

• Stop using your data for a particular purpose

To do any of this, email us at info@artofuki.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local data protection authority.

Changes to these terms and this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The version published here is the current one; orders are governed by the version in place when you ordered.
